Ok well this is a prologue I wrote as a kinda explenation of the story I am about to tell about Angels, before they were Angels. From there we learn alot about the different famous Angels and how they got to where they are now. Plus my main Character Nelyn who was named Nelyn long before I picked that name as my XBL Gamertag. Anyway read the premiss here and let me know if the idea is good or if it needs alot of work. BTW What I really want to is for this to be a video game. But I intend to develop it as a comic cause that is more cost effective. And when I have been writing it seems to becoming out as a novel. Go fig right. Well expect images for this prologue later. For now I am just trying to get a reasonable amount written in responce to my sister -in-law asking if I am ever going to finish this thing as I have been talking about it in some way or another for over a year. That and I have a tendancy to abandon projects... but this one... well its been in my head forming for a year. Anyway I hope you enjoy. Somethings might change cause I really don't want to force a story, it really is something I feel has been forming on its own threw me in some way or another.

In the beginning God Said, “let there be light”, and there was the biggest fucking explosion that you ever saw. You probably know what happens from there because it parallels other books that you have read, but what you might not know is that your Universe wasn’t the first creation God ever made. No in fact it was the third. Thus began the phrase, “third time’s a charm”.
But before the dawn of time, which is to say before time itself existed, God sat alone. Pondering his existence and playing with energetic matter we would call a Cosmos, he wondered if there were others like Him. So God left His Cosmos and started to travel. He traveled through darkness so piercing, that the pain of loneliness was inevitable.
Exhausted after searching through eons of space, God stopped and began to drift for awhile bewildered as to what would happen to him. Was he destined to be alone forever? Was He really the only being to exist in any capacity? He created some more cosmos from his essence and spinning them in suspended animation he lye there pondering again.
Finally one day in a fit of anger God exploded, spilling much of his energy out over the cosmos and into the far reaches of the darkness. Crying out in pain he didn’t notice that his essence had permeated the cosmos, causing it to spin and vibrate, glowing with the heat of his anger. When the glow from the matter finally caught his eye he was mesmerized at what had happened, he had managed to spill energy out onto something else causing it to carry energy all on its own. Suddenly he had an idea.
Quickly going to work, he began to bore His first creation from the loins of his heart. Grabbing the Stars and planets of his cosmos one by one he compressed them together as tight as he could, and began pouring every emotion he had ever had into the dark ridged mass. For days he poured his thoughts and feelings with reckless abandonment into the mass like lightning bolts until it was pulsing with his essence. Light began to show in cracks growing around this sphere of nothingness.
Then bam….
This He thought, was His greatest idea ever. He didn’t want to be alone so he would create beings, of which could exist of their own accord. When they found out that he had made them, he thought, they would love him for all eternity. After the explosion settled God began to scour the small planets now forming, looking for the ideal place to make a home from them. He settled his mind on a small but shapely planet, and began to put his energy into it. Creating rivers out of apathy, mountains out of strength and trees from his will he slowly began to set up the building blocks for his creation.
From there creation began much like ours, though a lil’ more simplistic in structure. As He began to create life, happiness beamed down on His creation. Creatures sprang forth and roamed the earth. All conversed freely with each other, they fed on the vegetation for strength and drank pure apathy from the ocean of contentment (literally).
God decided to rest for a time having been drain from the excitement and energy it took to build his first Universe, so he drifted off to sleep. When He finally woke He decided to pop in on his creatures. Independent of him they had been roaming back and forth across the land and waters in peace, and for the first time God was not lonely. Excited from hearing their voices He drew Himself to their world and set Himself down on the mountains. Calling them to Him, He sat excited waiting to visit for the first time. But as they drew near one by one they began to burn away, from the force of his energy, turning to ash and vapor to be blown away by even the slightest breeze.
Three fourths of the planet had perished within days of his arrival. Feeling the earth tremble with the pain of its loss, God launched himself as fast as he could, never to return again. He traveled for eons, hurt that he could never be with his creation, but fearful to return to them less he destroy the rest of his first creation.
It was along while before he could bring himself to create anything again. But when he finally did, He was determined not to make the same mistake twice. Once Again God set out to create a mass and pour his essence into it. He poured life into the water, mountains and trees. This time into the beings he poured much of his strength, these beings he called Angelica. One by one he created them, four races in all. The first race know later as the Necrons, were came into being centuries before the others. They were bore from His fear that they would parish if he got to close.
He did not want the same fate for this Universe, as the last. So He created them so that they would never parish, by breaking off pieces of Himself, that they might be mighty and live forever. This surely would make it so that he would never be lonely again. What he did not anticipate was the pain of tearing at his soul, like a women bearing labor. He soon realized that he could not create very many of this race, less he become week and unable to take care of his creation. Hence the number of Necrons total nine thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty-Three. Weary God rested for a time promising to create bodies for their souls when he woke and left them free to roam the home he had created for them.
As time went by the Necrons grew impatient awaiting their creator’s promise of earthly bodies. They began to inhabit things around them using the essence of trees, rocks, water and at times ever lesser animals who could not resist. They began to build stryctures and scour tree, even route water to fuel their creative concepts.
So when the time came that God awoke to fulfill his promise he found a race of angelica who has continued without him. Annoyed with their impatience, and worried about what would have happened to the world if he had given them bodies before he had rest; He rebuked them and sent them into a desert stripping them of the bodies they had found. This place was known as the Necron dessert and from that day forward they were called Necrons, the wind angelica.
Revived a bit God decided to lessen the amount of the spirit he put into each being, from there on out, to avoid creating a world full of titans that could destroy their home. From there He created three more races one born of fire, one of water and another of earth.
Thromulas were those created from the most intelligent beings in the sea, though they were given earthly bodies. To each he gave of himself willingly, but the amount was much smaller than that of the Necrons. He then fashioned wings for them of crystallized water, which he had touched with a frosty chill. These wing were so translucent many times they could not be seen from more than a stone throw away. Thromulas were the fastest of all the Angelica, their wings beating like a humming bird. These creatures were therefore very hard to hit, and even harder was to aim and hit their wings while in flight.
Although their intelligence was unmatched next to the other races, their stature was much shorter than the rest. Never growing more than five feet, they kept their youthful look until their death. If one should see them on the streets in the human time and space you would not think much more of them than teenagers, even the elders look no older than seventeen.
The Seraphim were those who were born of fire. Created from the Draguns of the Blistering PlatUEs they had skin as hard as rhinos, and leathery wings to match. Though they were given bodies much like our human form, they had wings which matched exactly the Dragun in shape and structure. Amounting to four wings in all, they had two larger wings on the top and two smaller coming down from their shoulders draping the floor.
They do not wear shoes and even see this as a sign of shame, due to their rather large claws attached to their feet. These claws were only over shadowed in size by those of the Dragun’s heads. AS WELL THEY HAD SPIKES RUNNING IN INTERVALS DOWN THEIR WINGS WHICH THEY OFTEN USED AS ARMOR.
Seraphim towered over the other races often hitting twelve feet, and while they may not have been as intelligent as the Thromulas they were creative in their own right. Building cavers in the Noxa mountain and all across the Roaker Mountain Range, they constantly had smoking pouring out of the highest peaks, as signs of the fruits of their labors. They crafted weapons and armor used by all races and if one were to visit them, you would be lead through monstrous iron doors revealing cities miles wide of steel homes and stone roads, built into the mountain itself.
When in battle Seraphim even wore armor around their wings. They weren’t as fast as the thromulas and there for used chain and plate armor as a vital source of protection for their only week spot, their wings. This armor was surprisingly light weight and flexible though still only able to be use by these Dragun like Angelica.
Lastly God made the Cherubim, angelica created from the earth itself. They were given six eagle like wings, three on each side, all bearing equal size. These wings while not as fast as the Thromulas and not as strong as the Seraphim where build for longer journeys. Cherubim were also often more agile than the other two. This race of Angelica were given charge to be as shepherds of the land, guarding the stretch of land from Anbar Marsh to the Chebar River. At times they even went farther east to become fishermen of Berk or farmers in the Huvel Flats. These angels having been made last had a certain peace about them, created from pieces of God when he was most diligent and content, nearing the end of his creation.
While the Angelica were created from pieces of God Himself, of his essence and energy, they were completely independent of them having the choice of free will. They grew, bore children and died, returning to God and becoming part of him once again. Their spirit surviving in their offspring and by extension God’s spirit lived on earth. His spirit was so strong in fact that they lived much longer than his first creation, or even the human. In fact the Anglica AGED TEN TIMES SLOWER THAN US. God Was their tree of life.
God regularly visited them walking regularly teaching them their history and how to tend to the home he had created for them. But his spirit often wandered away from what the Angelica had come to call the Monaic lands, so he could also watch them grow at a distance becoming their own people.
It is one particular Cherubim however that we start our story, a content but curious Angelica called Nelyn.
